
For all its low-key charm and rough edges, Baltimore also has some swanky attractions, and the folks over at two high-end publications want the world to know it.
Condé Nast Traveler highlighted two Baltimore hotels in its annual Gold List published on Monday, as first reported by BBJ editor-in-chief Joanna Sullivan. This year’s list touts The Ivy near Midtown-Belvedere and the Four Seasons in Harbor East as being among the top 172 hotels in the world.
For the former, the editors said they love the “deep sunken tubs, soft cashmere throws on canopied beds, and extras like free movies and free minibar booze.” The latter earned their attention for its obviously spectacular amenities (since it’s also a spa and resort) and its luxurious bathrooms.
