Red Star is coming to Charles Village.
Owners of the Nine East 33rd housing and retail development at St. Paul and 33rd streets announced this week that they have signed the Red Star Bar & Grill to open a restaurant on the building’s first level.
The restaurant is tentatively scheduled to open in the summer of 2017 on the corner of St. Paul and 33rd. It will be the second location for Red Star, which is at 906 S. Wolfe Street in Fells Point.
With 5,770 square feet of space, Red Star will be the largest of several dining spots at Nine East 33rd, along with “honeygrow,” Towson Hot Bagels, PekoPeko Ramen and Bird in Hand, a collaboration between restaurateur Spike Gjerde and The Ivy Bookshop.
