Senior Advisor Tom Austing has been hired to lead EA Commercial Real Estate’s Government and Contractors Leasing Group. Tom joined the group to continue his 20-year focus of supporting the dynamic growth of young and middle market government contractors within the Baltimore-Washington region. As a former Team Leader for Chevy Chase Bank’s Government Contractor practice, Tom migrated his service from delivering banking solutions to identifying and negotiating preferred office space, tailored to meet each contractor’s unique requirements. Tom’s expertise in contractor finance makes him a valued resource for any firm’s financial team. He also specializes as advocate and advisor for his clientele designated as woman owned businesses (WOBs) and service disabled veteran owned businesses (SDVOBs), and all graduated firms.

Tom maintains deep relationships with other contractor-centric experts such as lenders, CPAs, and attorneys, to provide his leasing clients with a continuum of professional advisors to guide them through potential capital, tax and legal questions that may arise during management’s evaluations for contract and office growth.

To deliver best in class office leasing solutions, Tom and the EA Group access and review all industry resources to identify suitable office space and then guide firms through the lease acquisition process.
