Bill Meissner, President of Ruppert Properties, is pleased to announce the hiring of Brandon Cannon as Senior Associate, Leasing and Acquisitions.

Prior to joining Ruppert Properties, Brandon worked as a Relationship Manager for BB&T Bank.  Brandon managed a portfolio of commercial real estate clients and assisted them with their credit and financial needs.   

“Throughout the process of identifying candidates for this position, we talked to a lot of people and Brandon brought a unique perspective and insight to the industry given his banking experience,” said Bill Meissner, President. “While he is new to the industry from an operational standpoint, we feel his perspective and background as a commercial real estate lender brings valuable experience.”

As Senior Associate, Brandon’s role will be to support company leasing and acquisition activities. Primary responsibilities include: in-house leasing of portfolio properties and management of  third party leasing providers, as well as sourcing acquisition opportunities by cultivating relationships/opportunities within the commercial real estate and related industries.  

Brandon currently resides in Frederick, MD.  He attended the University of Maryland where he studied economics and sociology.
