Matt Copeland has joined the Baltimore office of KLNB Retail, a full-service retail brokerage and property management real estate services firm. Mr. Copeland was formerly a Senior Associate for CBRE where he worked in the retail division and managed the leasing activities for more than four million square feet of space.

In his new position at KLNB, Matt will focus on both tenant and landlord representation throughout the greater Baltimore metropolitan marketplace. This includes overseeing the comprehensive real estate requirements for national, regional and local retail tenants including market analysis, site-selection and lease negotiations for expansion or market entry programs.He will also devise and execute leasing strategies for landlords and property owners designed to attract or retain complementary tenant mixes for retail and mixed-use projects. In addition, Mattwill assist with the sale of retail properties as well as user representation.

Matt brings more than 15 years of diversified retail real estate experience to KLNB Retail and previously worked in leasing roles for Emmes Realty and The Cordish Company. Matt has been named a CoStar Power Broker for leasing activity three separate times and was named the Top Retail Sales Professional by CBRE in 2007. He is a member of the International Council for Shopping Centers and NAIOP Maryland.
