New fast-casual restaurant concept offers America’s most notable sandwiches and regional craft beers

RegionAle, a new restaurant concept located at 5705 Richards Valley Road in Ellicott City, announced today it will open for business on Monday, November 21. RegionAle will serve a selection of famous American sandwiches from across the country, freshly-made sides and regional craft beers in a fast-casual atmosphere.

RegionAle offers a flavorful and fresh menu, featuring 13 of America’s favorite sandwiches, including the Maryland Crab Cake, Florida Cubano, Tennessee Pulled Pork, Wisconsin Grilled Cheese and Louisiana Shrimp Po’Boy. The restaurant will also offer delicious seasonal soups and salads, as well as house-made chips and cookies.

Owner Kevin Curley, an Ellicott City native, worked under Baltimore restaurateur Cindy Wolf, owner and chef of the Charleston, prior to starting RegionAle. A graduate of Cornell and the Culinary Institute of America, Curley was previously the Chef de Cuisine at Le Cafe? Cent-Dix in Ithaca, New York.

“We are in a perfect location to embrace the neighboring businesses and Ellicott City residents, who are looking for a fresh meal option at a reasonable price any time of day,” said RegionAle owner Kevin Curley. “Our customers are going to love our versions of America’s favorite sandwiches, which we’ve recreated from scratch, using locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients.”

Following the approval of its liquor board license in December, RegionAle will feature six regional favorite craft beers on tap, which will be rotated seasonally, as well as wine and bottled beer. The restaurant will also introduce an “Adult Meal” combo that includes an alcoholic beverage and a side beginning in January 2017.
