Baltimore’s beloved restaurant brings its classic menu and great times to Towson

Today, Nacho Mama’s will officially open its doors to their second location at 2 West Pennsylvania Avenue at the corner of York Road, in the heart of downtown Towson. Dinner service will begin at 5pm and the bar will open at 4pm.

Guests of the restaurant can feel the soul of Baltimore on the walls of the restaurant, and after a Hubcap (the notorious and renowned oversized margarita) or Natty Boh, whether you’re from Baltimore or not, you’ll feel at home. Featuring a diverse menu of Maryland-Mex fare (No Tex on our Mex!) and classic American favorites made with fresh, interesting ingredients, guests will find a fun-loving staff and a vibe that guarantees everyone a great time.

“So many people have worked passionately, with tremendous pride, to build our Towson restaurant,” said Jackie McCusker, founder & restaurateur, Nacho Mama’s. “Being from Baltimore, there is this unique connection with people, be it through sports, school or family legacy, we intuitively support one another, and I am so thankful for everyone’s faithfulness and spirit.”

Under the direction of executive chef Jesse Sandlin, highlights of the menu include long-time favorites such as the pulled BBQ pork quesadilla, shrimp chorizo quesadilla, Mama’s king wings, and truck tacos, to new items such as the craveable pork belly chicharones, and blackened ribeye with chimichurri and crispy onion strings.

The 6,700-sq.-ft. restaurant features 150 seats including family dining, a massive main bar with banquette seating, and private party room with curved bar, “flying Elvis” suit and other special pieces of Baltimore memorabilia. Seasonal outdoor tables will also be available.

“I’m proud we’re adding over 100 jobs and contributing to the downtown Towson we’ve always loved so much,” said Phil Gelso, owner/restaurateur, Nacho Mama’s.

Nacho Mama’s will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner starting at 11am, as well as Sunday brunch (9am-2pm). We are pleased to offer valet parking Thursday through Saturday from 5-10pm for a fee of $6 per car. For more information visit www.mamasmd.com/NachosSite/.
