Chicorelli, MAI of Elkridge, Maryland as partner. Since beginning operations in March 2015, the firm has tripled its team of experts to meet their growing client base in Maryland, Delaware, South Central Pennsylvania, D.C., and Northern Virginia.

Chicorelli joins Principle with over 10 years of experience in the appraisal industry. He most recently served as a senior appraiser with Valbridge Property Advisors | Lipman Frizzell & Mitchell. Prior to beginning his career in valuation, he worked as an environmental engineer and consultant. Chicorelli has experience in valuations of various real estate property types including office buildings, apartments, warehouse, flex buildings, residential subdivisions, schools, churches, shopping centers, and mixed use properties. He has been qualified as an expert witness for numerous court cases including U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court and the State of Maryland Tax Court. In his new role as partner of Principle Real Estate Consultants, Chicorelli will handle commercial appraisal work, assist with day-to-day company operations, and serve as a critical leader of the firm’s continued growth.

Chicorelli holds an MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He is a member of the Maryland Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and will begin serving as the vice president of the Chapter in 2017. Chicorelli holds certified general appraiser licenses in Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Delaware. He earned his master’s degree in environmental science from Johns Hopkins University and his bachelor’s degree in biology, along with a minor in chemistry, from Towson University.
