
When Planit moved from Inner Harbor to Locust Point, the ad and brand agency’s renovation of the former King Syrup factory on Key Highway provided just one of many signs of the creative, digital-leaning nature of Baltimore’s present and future economy moving into a place of the past. But in leaving the bustling center of the city, it also moved into a community.
“Over here, we’re part of a neighborhood,” Planit President Matt Doud said, so they thought about, “What’s the +1 we could bring to make this neighborhood even better?” Plus, the agency’s 100 employees needed a place to get coffee.
