Brooke Harlander
St. John Properties, Inc., a Baltimore-based real estate development and management company, has named Brooke Harlander as Retail Leasing Representative. She was formerly Development Associate for Sagamore Development Company.
In her new role, Ms. Harlander will support the marketing, leasing and lease renewal activities for the St. John Properties retail portfolio consisting of more than two million square feet of space in the Maryland, Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia areas. This includes educating the retail brokerage community about retail opportunities throughout the portfolio, identifying prospective retail clients, handling lease negotiations, working with the company asset management team with client relations efforts, and assisting with retail site selection and acquisition activities.
Ms. Harlander brings more than four years of diversified sales and real estate experience to St. John Properties, having also worked with General Growth Properties and Under Armour. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Law and American Civilization from Towson University and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Real Estate and Infrastructure from The John Hopkins University Carey Business School, where she serves as president of the Carey Real Estate Student Association. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, including the Women’s Leadership Committee and the Young Leader’s Partnership Forum, CREW Baltimore, SPCA Urbanites and serves on the board of the Joel Gamble Foundation.
