Heritage Financial Consultants, a preeminent Mid-Atlantic wealth management firm providing comprehensive financial services, is proud to announce that it is participating in the Catholic Charities 2016 Dragon Boat Race.
The 10th biannual race, which is held on Sept. 10 at Baltimore’s Rash Field, supports Catholic Charities and its 80 partner programs. The event is one of the largest fundraisers for Catholic Charities in Baltimore.
Advisors and staff from Heritage Financial Consultants are sponsoring a boat and will compete in the event’s three races. Over the summer, twenty-two advisors and staff members practiced weekly to prepare racing the 41-foot dragon boat.
As a boat sponsor, the financial advisory firm is partnered with Catholic Charities’ program The Neighborhoods at St. Elizabeth, which provides individualized rehabilitation and nursing services.
In addition, Heritage Financial Consultants will participate in the event’s spirit competition where teams decorate tents that the boats launch from. This year, the financial planning firm will be decorating its tent with a disco theme.
