Jen Sterling and Alex Obaza
The Y in Central Maryland is excited to announce that Jen Sterling and Alex Obaza have joined the Anne Arundel County Community Leadership Board and the Northern Baltimore County Community Leadership Board, respectively.
Sterling founded Red Thinking in 2010 after leading the charge for eight years as president and co-founder at Hinge, where she worked in professional services, strategic branding and marketing. She currently serves or has served on numerous boards including Leadership Fairfax, Board of Trustees for Reston Hospital Center, Let’s Help Kids, Entrepreneurs’ Organization (DC Chapter), Fairfax County Parks Foundation, National Science Communication Institute and several Chambers of Commerce boards.Sterling graduated from George Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in visual communications and a minor in psychology. She lives in Arnold with her daughter.
Obaza currently serves as vice president of T. Rowe Price Group, Inc., and T. Rowe Price Associates, Inc., and is a corporate credit analyst in the Fixed Income Division. He previously served as an associate in the Investment Compliance Division and an investment liaison for T. Rowe Price. Obaza graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in business and from University of Maryland, Robert H. Smith School of Business with a master’s in business administration with a concentration in finance. He has also earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Obaza resides in Lutherville with his wife and two children.
