Leadership Howard County Announces New Board Members

Leadership Howard County is pleased to announce the addition of the following new members to its 2016 – 2017 Board of Directors:

Chima Chijioke – Manager, Major Accounts, BGE

Kelli Shimabukuro – Community Education & Partnerships Coordinator, Howard County Library System

Kari Staddon – Director of Development, United Way of Central Maryland

Mark Thompson – Vice President of Business Development, Howard County Economic Development Authority

Jonathan May, Attorney with Rosenberg Martin Greenberg will begin a 2-year term as board chair. Mr. May, a graduate of the Leadership Howard County class of 2002, previously served as the board’s General Counsel since 2008.

Leadership Howard County provides innovative programs designed to empower and connect community leaders and keep them engaged in the critical issues facing Howard County and the region. Drawn from private businesses, nonprofits and the public sector, Leadership Howard County participants share a common interest in learning more about their community and a commitment to making a positive impact.
