McCormick & Company, Incorporated (NYSE: MKC), a global leader in flavor, today announced the finalization of an agreement to relocate its company headquarters to 99 Shawan Road in Hunt Valley, Md. The company partnered with Greenfield Partners LLC, the property owner and developer, to finalize the terms of the lease which includes a target occupancy date of August 2018. This move will consolidate more than 900 employees currently located across several buildings in Hunt Valley and Sparks into one location.
Greenfield Partners LLC will begin construction on the site which is currently operated by a telecommunications provider. The new headquarters building will be LEED Gold sustainability certified. The company will benefit from better space utilization as well as increased energy efficiency and sustainability in the new location.
