One of Baltimore’s oldest civil rights and faith groups, BUILD, came to Under Armour headquarters yesterday to say they have a memory “like an elephant” for “the failure of these big development deals to deliver their inflated promises.”
Arriving in church vans, about 50 BUILD members were met by representatives of Sagamore Development, Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank’s development arm, the group seeking an unprecedented $660 million in city Tax Increment Financing TIF bonds for Plank’s massive waterfront redevelopment project at Port Covington.
