Clarksville-based team ranked 3rd in REAL Trends’ The Thousand list

Long & Foster Real Estate announced today that The Creig Northrop Team, a Long & Foster team based in Clarksville, Maryland, ranked 3rd amongst real estate teams nationwide based on sales volume in 2015, as ranked by REAL Trends’ 2016 The Thousand list. Northrop’s team was also ranked 5th in the nation based on the number of closed transaction sides in 2015.

The Northrop Team, which has offices in Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, and Montgomery counties in Maryland has consistently ranked No. 1 in Maryland for the past 10 years for the number of homes sold. The team is comprised of more than 40 real estate sales professionals who work with both buyers and sellers.

“One person can’t do it all. Any business is stronger if it has people who are comfortable enough to rely on and trust one another,” said Northrop, president and CEO of the Northrop Team. “Success is all about teamwork. We are proud of our ranking and we will continue to bring our customers the unparalleled service, expertise and client-first philosophy they can expect from Maryland’s top-ranking residential real estate team.”

In total, nine Long & Foster teams were ranked in the survey of the nation’s top 250 sales teams by closed volume and top 250 sales teams by transaction sides for 2015. Two individual sales agents were ranked in the top 250 associates nationwide based on the number of closed transactions.

“I’d like to congratulate Creig Northrop and the entire Northrop Team on their sales success and top ranking in REAL Trends as the No. 1 team in Maryland,” said P. Wesley Foster Jr., chairman and CEO of The Long & Foster Companies. “The fact that so many clients have put their trust in The Northrop Team shows their commitment to helping clients meet their real estate needs.”

“We congratulate Creig Northrop and his team on being named to this year’s REAL Trends’ The Thousand. This honor reflects the commitment to service, professionalism and expertise that Creig and our entire team of real estate experts strive to provide,” said Gary Scott, president of Long & Foster Real Estate. “It’s because of agents like Creig that Long & Foster is the real estate leader in the Mid-Atlantic and the top privately owned real estate company in the nation and we’re committed to providing our sales associates with the industry-leading tools, technology and resources they need to grow their business.”
