Over 22,300 square feet of new leases brings the center to 93-percent leased
By summer’s end, The JBG Companies will have opened seven new shops and restaurants at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center—a 482,631-square-foot retail center in Woodbridge, Virginia, acquired six months ago by the Chevy-Chase based developer.
“We’ve signed seven new tenants since we purchased Stonebridge in December 2015, bringing new retail and restaurant offerings to the market,” said JBG Senior Vice President Carter Davis. “We’re very pleased with the tenant mix and the rapid pace of leasing.”
The new tenants include a new family-friendly and locally-owned craft beer brewery and restaurant, Brew Republic Bierwerks (4,026 SF); a second Virginia location for Duck Donuts, of regional Outer Banks fame (2,256 SF); the first Prince William County location of BurgerFI, a new gourmet burger restaurant (2,693 SF); and locally-owned Sushi Jin Next Door (1,255 SF). BurgerFI and Sushi Jin are open. Brew Republic and Duck Donuts should be open by late summer.
“Brew Republic is an exciting new venture that we're proud to begin in Prince William County. It's a fantastic place to start this journey of #ANewNationOfBeer,” said co-owner Jeff Frederick, a former member of the Virginia General Assembly. “Working with JBG on our buildout has been an exciting process, and we’re on target for a late August/early September opening. Stonebridge is an established destination in the Washington region and we know our family-friendly brewery and tap room will be a fantastic fit.”
In addition, Lane Bryant (5,561 SF), Massage Envy (3,201 SF) and Sleep Number (3,354 SF) have also signed with JBG at Stonebridge. Lane Bryant and Massage Envy are open; Sleep Number will open by late summer.
Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center—a regional lifestyle retail destination serving the rapidly growing Prince William County—is now about 93 percent leased. A walkable town center, it is anchored by Wegmans and includes notable retailers such as Apple, REI, DSW, Orvis, Uncle Julios and South Moon Under.
