Tutor Perini Awarded $100 Million Contract for Expansion Project at The Cordish Companies’ Maryland Live! Casino

PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tutor Perini Corporation (NYSE: TPC), a leading civil and building construction company, announced today that the Philadelphia office of its subsidiary, Tutor Perini Building Corp., has been awarded a contract by The Cordish Companies for the Maryland Live! Casino Expansion project in Hanover, Maryland. The contract is valued in excess of $100 million and the project scope of work includes construction of a new, upscale 17-story, 310-room hotel and event center to be built at Maryland Live! Casino, the state’s largest casino.

Tutor Perini’s top local executive, Peter Sukalo, said, “Tutor Perini Building Corp. has a long-standing working relationship with The Cordish Companies. Construction is currently underway and substantial completion is expected in late 2017.
