BBB of Greater Maryland is proud to welcome a new group of business leaders to its Board of Directors. We asked our community of Accredited Businesses to apply to serve as advocates and advisers for their peers. Recruitment garnered 17 applications, and we unanimously approved eight new members. BBB’s mission to build an ethical marketplace depends on strong and diverse leadership, and these new members share in BBB’s vision.
“Board members are vital to the success of our organization,” said Angie Barnett, president and CEO of BBB Serving Greater Maryland. “The 2020 additions to our Board of Directors bring industry expertise and unique perspectives. Their skills will strengthen BBB’s ability to identify challenges and provide resources that businesses need as they navigate their pandemic recovery.”

Board members are voluntary representatives from the Maryland community of Accredited Businesses. They are committed to upholding the core values of BBB, operating in accordance with BBB’s Code of Business Practices.
