Larry Koch Appointed To Board of BCEDC

R. Lawrence Koch, Jr.,

R. Lawrence Koch, Jr., a retired Commercial Mortgage Banker, was a Managing Director of Columbia National Real Estate Finance, Inc. and served as Manager of the Baltimore regional office. In this capacity he oversaw the production effort responsible for the origination / placement of both debt and equity transactions for all commercial property types. Mr. Koch was involved with more than $3.0 billion of commercial real estate loans.

Mr. Koch received his Master's of Business Administration from Loyola University and his Bachelor of Economics degree from South Dakota State University.

He holds a Maryland Real Estate Broker's license and is an active member of ULI and NAIOP. He is a past president of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers Association.

Columbia National is the successor company of the James W. Rouse Company, a subsidiary of The Rouse Company.

Mr. Koch is a veteran of the United State Navy and resides with his wife, Jo Ann, in Reisterstown, Maryland. Larry was born and raised in Sioux City, Iowa. He is an avid golfer and member of the Baltimore Country Club. He and Joann have two grown children.

Mr. Koch's decades of financing multi million dollar development transaction will be a very valuable addition to the BCEDC Board in its policy deliberations.
