Pessin Katz Law, P.A. (PK Law) is pleased to announce that LeDonna Berman has been voted in as a Board Member of The Baltimore County Provider Council. The Baltimore County Provider Council is a membership organization that is committed to building a professional community that improves the lives of older adults. The membership is composed of individuals representing for-profit and not-for-profit businesses and government agencies that serve older adults in and around Baltimore County. The Group strives to provide opportunities for education, networking, leadership development, partnership building and philanthropy.
LeDonna is an Elder Law Case Manager in the Firm’s Wealth Preservation Group where she works side by side with the firm’s Elder Law Attorneys to assist families with their elder care planning to ensure their loved ones are properly cared for and their assets preserved. For over 23 years she has helped families protect assets from being depleted for long term care, preserve their family home and other property, qualify for Medicaid to pay the nursing home, avoid being trapped in the 5-year look back and protect assets for spouses.
LeDonna has been a member of The Baltimore County Provider Council for the past 9 years and as a Board Member is currently serving on the scholarship committee where she has assisted the Council with organizing and reaching out to Baltimore County Universities for contacts to provide the application process to students wishing to apply for the scholarship.
