Warschawski Launches New Website for Edward A. Myerberg Center

10/30/19

Warschawski, a full-service advertising, marketing, digital, public relations, branding, web design, creative and crisis communications agency, announced today that it has launched a newly redesigned website for the Edward A. Myerberg Center, a private nonprofit community center connecting and inspiring active older adults in northwest Baltimore.

Warschawski was brought on by the Myerberg team to create a new website to better reflect the Center’s growth and comprehensive offerings for active adults. The Center offers a host of programs and classes designed to help members stay active, engaged, healthy and connected.

It is one of the few Centers in the region to provide a Tech-KnowledgeHub where active adults can come and learn how to use digital and mobile devices through educational workshops and courses that promote lifelong learning. The program provides seniors access to computer technologies and innovative tools to help manage safety and security, combat isolation and loneliness, and communicate with friends and family. From ordering groceries online and playing engaging games to adjusting the lights and temperature in their homes, older adults can learn how to stay connected in the digital age.

“Myerberg’s energy and family-like environment is redefining the perception of senior centers, and we wanted to create a website that would help them tell that story while engaging key audiences in a meaningful way,” said Shana Harris, COO of Warschawski. “Thenew website now acts as the go-to source for active seniors in the Greater Baltimore area. Whether they are searching for wellness classes, arts & humanities classes, or simply looking to connect with like-minded individuals, the new website provides an easy-to-navigate hub for all the information they need.”

Founded in 1976, the Edward A. Myerberg Center serves adults ages 55+ in Baltimore, Maryland. With about 900 members, Myerberg helps older adults maintain a healthy lifestyle, develop connections and sustain independence through its more than 125 programs, classes, and activities, including art, health and fitness, technology, and more. Myerberg hosts social, religious and civic events and meetings throughout the year. Other support services such as counseling, group meetings, and other resources are also offered within Myerberg’s multipurpose center.
