Newport Academy, a nation-wide mental health facility for teens and young adults is expanding their services to the greater Washington D.C. area, specifically in Rockville, MD, providing outpatient services for those struggling with mental health issues.
Today, one in five teens has a diagnosable mental health disorder, such as depression or anxiety. And these teen mental disorders are on the rise. In fact, experts say that mental disorders in teenagers are at an all-time high.
Newport Academy does things differently. Each outpatient individual is provided with an individualized treatment plan. Through individual, family, experiential, and group therapy, as well as recovery counseling sessions, the Newport Academy Outpatient Program fosters positive family dynamics and overall thriving for teens. This type of therapy involves meditation, music therapy, yoga and more.
