The Quarry Springs estate condominium community has scheduled a “Gallery Art Show and Open House” for Saturday, October 14 from 2 pm to 5 pm, at the project located at 8101 River Road in the Bethesda section of Montgomery County. The event is free and open to the public, but advance reservations are preferred and can be made by contacting maryalice@quarrysprings.com or by calling 301-355-2789. Quarry Springs, a project of 1788 Holdings, LLC and financial partner Apollo Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc., is presently comprised of fifty residential units ranging from 2,200 to 4,500 square feet of space among two separate buildings. Valet parking will be available during event hours.
An estimated fifty pieces of artwork will be displayed and available for purchase including abstracts; watercolors; portraits; contemporary, historically-relevant and modern pieces, as well as non-traditional mediums. A number of local artists will be represented including Flora Kanter, Jim Maio, Ariel Messeca, Sandra Sugar, Sergio Pena and Lisa Tureson. Different artists from The Adah Rose Gallery in Kensington and Merritt Gallery in Chevy Chase will also have expressions on display.
