When Bray Wyatt and Naomi won their first singles titles in WWE at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view Feb. 12, it struck me that they both made their WWE debuts as contestants on NXT, when it was a reality competition series in 2010.
My first impressions of them were that Naomi was a standout, destined to be a star, but Wyatt -- then saddled with the awful name of Husky Harris -- would never make it to the main roster.
It turned out Naomi's road to championship gold wasn't nearly as smooth as I thought it would be. Conversely, Wyatt has been one of the most compelling characters in WWE since joining the main roster in 2013, and it's been obvious for a while that it was just a matter of time before he became world champion.
