It's not often that the National Football League doesn't put on a good show, but last weekend was a prime example.
Wild Card Weekend definitely wasn't wild, and it may have led people to play cards ... or clean their houses, garages or -- here's a concept -- spend time with their families.
Now that only eight teams remain in the race to Houston and Super Bowl LI, the competition should ramp up and the games should get more intense as the urgency heightens.
If there's one way I would hope the Divisional Round would resemble Wild Card Weekend, it would be through my record.
