Two years ago, it was Mychal Givens. Last year, it was Donnie Hart. The Orioles' three-day minicamp, which concluded Jan. 11, was a chance for manager Buck Showalter, new pitching coach Roger McDowell and bullpen coach Alan Mills to get to know players they hadn't seen before.
In 2015, Givens was a converted infielder who came to minicamp almost as a curiosity and became a vital, right-handed part of the Orioles' bullpen later that year.
A year ago, Donnie Hart was an anonymous left-handed pitcher who pitched brilliantly for the team in the second half of 2016.
Who could be this year's Givens or Hart?
