After Long Road From Baltimore, Kansas Safety Fish Smithson Eyes NFL Future

Depending on which service you check, safety Fish Smithson is expected to be a mid- or late-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft or potentially not selected at all. Those possibilities could lead to an arduous journey to trying to make an NFL roster and succeed at the next level.

But arduous journeys are kind of Fish Smithson's thing.

The Baltimore native just wrapped his senior season at Kansas and is preparing for the annual East-West Shrine Game as part of his preparation for the draft. He joined Glenn Clark Radio Jan. 10 to discuss the process. But more importantly, to discuss the incredible path that lead him to this point.
