The unthinkable is now possible. Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens are apparently moving toward the Hall of Fame.
Bonds, the all-time home run king, and Clemens, arguably the most dominant pitcher of his generation, have long been shunned because of presumed steroid use.
According to Hall of Fame tracker Ryan Thibodaux (@NotMrTibbs), both Bonds and Clemens have made significant strides in their trek to Cooperstown, N.Y.
With about 40 percent of ballots for Hall of Fame voting revealed, Bonds has 68.6 percent of the vote and Clemens 68 percent. Seventy-five percent is needed for election.
