The Ravens practiced in the usually drab atmosphere that accompanies the season's final walk-through Dec. 30.
The indoor session featured lots of loose banter, trash talk and the omnipresent song for such occasions blaring through the speakers, Semisonic's "Closing Time."
But if there's one thing that could brighten the mood for a team bound for vacation instead of the postseason, it's the fact that one of the most highly regarded players on the roster, practice-squad receiver/returner Keenan Reynolds, was promoted to active status.
Reynolds, a sixth-round pick from the Naval Academy (182nd overall), was forced to forgo his natural quarterback position in order to have a better shot to make the team.
