Navy’s 14-Game Winning Streak Over Army Comes To An End

The Navy Midshipmen spent the week leading up to the game against Army answering questions about the amount of adversity they have faced this season.

While Navy vowed to overcome those challenges, the mounting injuries were simply too hard to overcome. Army quarterback Ahmad Bradshaw scored the go-ahead touchdown with six minutes left in regulation and the Black Knights ended a 14-game losing streak against the Midshipmen with a 21-17 victory on Dec. 10 at M&T Bank Stadium.

“You don’t expect that many guys getting hurt,” Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo said. “It’s football. We’re not going to use that as an excuse. They outplayed us. Just tip your hat to them.”
