Justin Tucker And The 'Wolfpack' Have A Kicking Superstition They Won't Admit To

Perhaps you've heard that when he isn't busy cracking his best dad jokes, Ravens kicker Justin Tucker is a perfect 27-for-27 on field goal tries this season. Combined with being 15-for-15 on extra points, and considering two-thirds of those 27 field goal makes have been from 40 yards or longer, that's a particularly impressive brand of "perfect."

As Tucker himself has pointed out on a number of occasions, his kicking perfection wouldn't be possible without the performances of the other members of his special teams "Wolfpack:" long snapper Morgan Cox and punter/holder Sam Koch. The trio is now in its fifth season together, with all three having been selected to the Pro Bowl during the span.

Often times, athletes who are in a zone or on some sort of a hot streak can tend to be a bit superstitious. In the past, we have learned that Tucker has been inspired by former Ravens cornerback Deion Sanders for one of his superstitions, as he lays his entire uniform out on the floor of the locker room before games.
