Football is not a pretty game and success does not come easily.
Perhaps better than any other team, the Baltimore Ravens know this. This year, like many in the past, they will simply have to ride their imperfections as far as they can take them.
Once again, lack of consistent offense and sustained momentum turned what seemed to be a mismatched AFC North Division game into a nailbiter.
But thanks to opportunistic defense and Justin Tucker's four field goals, the Ravens were able to ride out a 19-14 win against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals and again claim first place in the AFC North by virtue of a head-to-head tiebreaker over the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both teams sport 6-5 records.
