Football's a funny sport.
Count me among the many who expected that, if Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger played, the Baltimore Ravens wouldn't have a great chance of winning their Nov. 6 game at M&T Bank Stadium. Count me among those who assumed a fifth straight loss was imminent, and the franchise was well on its way to a miserable second half of the season during which we'd spend as much time wondering about the future of the coach and general manager as we would about the potential results of any of the games remaining on the schedule.
After just one imperfect win, we can instead discuss the potential path to the postseason for a team now tied for first place in the AFC North (and holds the tiebreaker against the Steelers at the moment).
