Overlea's football team has been playing exceptionally well throughout the past five weeks.
The Falcons' lone defeat of the season came Sept. 17 against Bel Air, but since then, the team has been on a rampage, winning five straight games by a combined score of 203-14. The win streak has given Overlea a 6-1 record for the season.
"It's been a lot of fun. I feel like we're bonding more with each other, both on and off the field, every day," junior right guard Shaquin Meredith said. "Our chemistry is really working for us right now."
The winning streak has resulted in a bounce-back campaign for Overlea. Last season served as a learning season for the Falcons, as the team had just four seniors and finished 5-5.
