Moving right along with the 2016 Orioles roster review, it's time to get to the good stuff after wading through the players who barely appeared, players who barely appeared, the replaceable hitters and replaceable pitchers. Now we'll look at the players who provided positive value to the Birds this season, starting with the good-but-not-great contributors.

Pitching In From The Pen

RHP Vance Worley: An unsung hero of the Orioles' bullpen, Worley was especially valuable during the first half when O's starters were routinely knocked out early. Worley entered the game in the fifth inning or earlier 11 times this season, and he pitched two or more innings during 20 of his relief appearances overall, finishing the year with a solid 3.53 ERA. However, Worley seemed to fall out of favor after a rough patch in August and September, and he wasn't included on the Wild Card game roster.
