No. 24 Navy Looks To Overcome Stout Memphis Defense

Coming off one of the biggest victories in school history, No. 24 Navy football faces another significant test against Memphis and its hard-hitting defense Oct. 22.

The Midshipmen and Tigers are tied for first in the American Athletic Conference West Division. The winner of this game controls its own destiny for a spot in the AAC title game Dec. 3.

Navy (4-1 overall, 3-0 AAC) is looking to break a program record with its 14th consecutive victory at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. Memphis (5-1 overall, 2-0 AAC), however, leads the nation with 18 takeaways and should be a tough opponent for the Midshipmen.
