Tabitha Challis
Profiles, Inc., the Baltimore-based marketing and communications firm, is pleased to announce the hiring of Tabitha Challis as social media manager.
Challis brings more than 10 years of social media and traditional public relations experience to Profiles, and has worked with such brands as Bombay Sapphire Gin, Joe’s Jeans, Wil.i.am, and The Guild. Most recently, she was with Laundry Service in Los Angeles, California where she was a social media manager for the FOX Broadcasting Company developing, writing and editing social media content for multiple shows including Bones, New Girl, The Simpsons, and the record-breaking return of The X-Files. Her expertise is social media strategy, and she is proficient in many different social platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Periscope, and blogging. Challis graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in communications and, in 2012, went on to earn a Masters and a Masters of Fine Arts degree in creative writing from Wilkes University.
As social media manager, Challis is responsible for developing and implementing strategic campaigns for clients' social media platforms that align with the client's marketing and communications strategies. Using her vast experience and knowledge of social media, she will create content and editorial calendars for various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram and Snapchat. She will implement the strategies while regularly evaluating the success of the social media efforts and adjusting the strategy as needed.
