MGH Welcomes Seven New Hires and Promotes Two Employees

MGH, a full-service marketing communications agency, today announced it has added seven new employees and promoted two within its account services, interactive, media, public relations and social media teams.

The new additions at MGH are:

Cayla Durrett, Social Media Marketing Designer

Durrett joins MGH as a social media marketing designer. She previously served as a graphic designer for Zest Social Media Solutions. In her new role, Durrett will help with the design and art direction for all agency accounts that require creative social media content, with a focus on photography, video and animation for Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. She has an associate degree in digital communication and multimedia from Frederick Community College.

Kojo Manu, Marketing Coordinator

Manu joins MGH as a marketing coordinator after completing an internship with the agency this spring. In his new position, Manu will work across departments to provide support on a variety of client accounts. He has a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Susquehanna University.

Tony Marzullo, Account Manager

Marzullo joins the agency's account services department as an account manager. He previously served as an account executive at GKV. At MGH, Marzullo will work on several client accounts, including ZIPS Dry Cleaners and Capitol Vein & Laser Centers. He has a bachelor's degree in communication from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Kensey O'Neill, Media Assistant

O'Neill joins MGH as a media assistant after completing an internship with the agency's media department last summer. In her new role, O'Neill will provide support to MGH's team of media planners and buyers on both digital and traditional media efforts for clients. She has a bachelor's degree in marketing with a minor in information systems from Salisbury University.

Lisa Pennell, Digital Strategy Director

Pennell joins the agency's media department as a digital strategy director. She previously served as director of e-commerce and digital marketing for Jos. A. Bank Clothiers for more than 10 years and was an e-commerce marketing manager for Discovery Communications, Inc. At MGH, Pennell will provide expertise in search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, display advertising and more. She will lead all digital efforts on behalf of clients, including Global Franchise Group, Ocean City, Md., Department of Tourism, The Greene Turtle and University of Maryland Medical System. Pennell has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University). 

Steph Senkewicz, Public Relations Account Executive

Senkewicz (maiden name Deisher) joins MGH as a public relations account executive. Prior to MGH, Senkewicz served as a communications coordinator for Vane Brothers and an associate account executive at Maroon PR. In her new role, she will provide public relations support on accounts, including Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., Ocean City, Md., Department of Tourism and Global Franchise Group. She has a bachelor's degree in communication with a public relations focus from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Katie Wilkens, Interactive Strategist

Wilkens joins the agency as an interactive strategist. She previously was a digital marketing analyst at GKV. At MGH, she will provide website strategy, email marketing, SEO strategy and reporting for various agency accounts, including University of Maryland Medical System, Benari Jewelers, Stevenson University, and Capitol Vein & Laser Centers. She has a bachelor's degree in American studies with a concentration in media studies and popular culture from the University of Maryland, College Park.

The recent promotions at MGH include:

Kelly Cahill, Public Relations Account Supervisor

Cahill has been promoted to public relations account supervisor. She supervises all agency efforts for clients TMMData and Kentucky 811 and works on several other accounts, including the Common Ground Alliance.

Emily Meier, Public Relations Senior Account Executive

Meier has been promoted to public relations senior account executive. She manages public relations efforts for The Classic Catering People and supports several additional client accounts, including Miss Utility, Indiana 811 and Nobel Learning Communities, Inc.
