Allstate Leasing is pleased to announce the hiring of Charlene Kurland as business relationship officer focusing on business development. In this role, Kurland will focus on equipment leasing for small businesses.

Kurland joins Allstate Leasing with more than 10 years of experience in business development. Most recently, Kurland served as a business relationship manager for SECU, a not-for-profit cooperative-style bank, where she developed new business relationships focused on both commercial and residential real estate lending, as well as investment and owner-occupied. Prior to SECU, Kurland worked for Howard Bank where she served as vice president of business banking. She was assistant vice president of business banking for PNC for over seven years.

Kurland has been recognized over the years for her leadership in business. In 2009, she was recognized by PNC Bank as a top performer. A year later, the company awarded her the Service Excellence Award and, in 2011, she was recognized with the Achievement award.

Kurland graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a bachelor of science in business and marketing. In addition to her accomplishments in the business world, Kurland is also a vocalist and published author. In addition to writing numerous business articles and drafting advertising copy for a local radio station, her book, Sarti’s Stay Slim System, was published in 2010.
