On an unseasonably muggy December day, the future of the Ravens' running game began to bloom.
Then-rookie back Javorius "Buck" Allen touched the ball a season-high 29 times for 170 total yards, displaying his variety of skills in what turned out to be a 15-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins Dec. 6.
Even though the game was especially meaningful to Allen -- in that it took place in his birth state of Florida -- it was one of just many moments that stood out to him as he looked back on an active rookie season after being a fourth-round draft pick (125th overall).
"I played early," said Allen, who is from Tallahassee, Fla. "I got my number called early and got to experience some things. You learn to be prepared and know when your number is going to be called."
